Synopsis
Tig broke Astrid’s heart when he broke up with her on their wedding day via FaceTime. Tig left town to play hockey for another city and in the five years since her wedding day, Astrid promised herself that she would never date another hockey player. Astrid unknowingly broke that promise when she had a one night stand with bartender, lumberjack hottie, Cal. Turns out they live in the same complex, but Cal was also hired as the “goalie whisperer” by Astrid’s father to assist with Astrid’s ex.

- Secret dating
- One night stand
- Hockey romance
- Dual POV

My Opinion
This book reminds me of an early 2000s romcom with Kate Hudson. It’s witty, sexy and a feel-good love story. I laughed a lot, the spice scenes were perfection and Cal is a hottie!

Rating
4 stars; I liked it and will recommend to others
3.5 spicy pepper emojis; At least two open door scenes. Explicit language with a variety of sexual acts.

Thank you
Thank you to Valentine PR and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
