About the Author
Taylor Claire is a happily-divorced, single-mother, and native to the sunny Southwest with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Masters in Social Work, both from Arizona State University.
Taylor earned her Social Work License in 2013 and gained professional experience ranging from outpatient mental health counseling, in-home hospice, residential substance abuse treatment, community crisis intervention and inpatient psychiatric care. In May 2012, she has been trained in the use diagnosing and treating adults with the use of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, (DSM-V) and has been Trauma Informed since March 2019.
Taylor finds her identity in her role as mother and social worker, but also self-identifies as a “Bad millennial,” struggling in technology. Taylor’s hobbies include reading, writing, crafting with her child, gardening, diamond painting and macrame.
